Courtney is a Montgomery County native and Towson University Art graduate who has spent the last 15 years immersing herself in the world of ceramics. Her passion lies in crafting functional art that integrates traditional wheel throwing with foundational handbuilding techniques. Her aesthetic is deeply inspired by the natural world and the timeless beauty of traditional Asian and Turkish pottery. When creating, she loves experimenting with rich cobalts, delicate celadons, and the translucent qualities of clay, adding depth through relief carving, custom stamps, textures, and modern motifs. Courtney is incredibly excited to share her love for this ancient craft with any individuals or group looking for a new artistic release or to further their pottery skills.
