A Bit About Jennie

Jennie began her pottery journey recently. What began as a hobby and a way to unwind quickly grew into something more. Seeing how memberships, classes, and workshops in the area were often fully booked reignited her dream to create something of her own. With a professional background in business administration and international development, and a career spent largely in international settings, she is excited to now focus on something more local and to bring value to her community.

Outside of the studio, Jennie enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and golden doodle, as well as visiting her family in Sweden.

She looks forward to continuing to develop her skills and seeing where her creativity leads. She finds inspiration in Scandinavian pottery traditions and their connection to nature, and a recent trip to Gotland touring the studios and shops of renowned potters, was especially inspiring. The Potters Union studio itself reflects Nordic influences, with design elements that bring natural warmth into its atmosphere.
