A Bit About Paola
Paola’s journey into pottery began with a gift from her late husband David, a small wheel and a set of tools that became the spark for something much greater. An entrepreneur himself, David always encouraged her to follow her passions, and his support gave her the courage to take the leap into a new creative path.
What started as a way to slow down and reconnect with herself soon grew into a deep love for clay. From her very first centered piece, Paola felt an overwhelming sense of joy. She quickly discovered that pottery is a process of endless exploration, every firing, glaze, and even mood shaping the outcome in unexpected ways. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, she finds beauty in imperfection and sees every stage of ceramics as a chance to learn, evolve, and create with intention.
Alongside her creative journey, Paola is also a CPA with years of experience in mergers and acquisitions. After successfully managing complex financial transactions across diverse industries, she chose to follow her heart and bring the same dedication and discipline to the arts.
For Paola, pottery is more than craft; it is presence, peace, and a way to carry forward the encouragement David gave her. Every piece she creates holds a part of that story, and she hopes the studio inspires others to find their own.
